I am a fan of Bayang Barrios, and thus, when she was featured in a TV show, I eagerly watched. There was a time in one costume Christmas party that I dressed up as her ahahahahah. I think it was in 2003 when she won the Metro Pop Music Festival.
What I learned was that she also went through a time of denial but then she eventually realized the richness of her heritage and embraced her ethnicity.
