measure in love

This song was sung during our wedding. Coincidence, I read about it today as uncanny as it may seem of all days. It just presented itself again. The universe seems to unfold as it should. God's fingerprint in everything there is.

Seasons of Love
From Rent the musical
by Jonathan Larsen

Five hundrend twenty five thousand

six hundred minutes
Five hundrend twenty five thousand
moments so dear
Five hundrend twenty five thousand
six hundred minutes
How do you measure, measure a year

In daylight, in sunsets, in midnights,
in cups of coffee, In inches, in miles
in laughter in strife,

In Five hundrend twenty five thousand
six hundred minutes
How do you measure a year in the life

(chorus)
How about Love
how about love
how about love
measure in love
seasons of love
seasons of love

Five hundrend twenty five thousand
six hundred minutes
Five hundrend twenty five thousand
journeys to plan
Five hundrend twenty five thousand
six hundred minutes
how do you measure the life of a woman
or a man

In truth that she learned
or in times that he cried
In the bridges he burned
or the way that she died

Its time now to sing out
though the story never ends
lets celebrate remember a year
in the life of friends

Happy Anniversary Tatay!

And it is doesn't seem to be just ___ years. It seems it has been a lifetime of living a full life with you! Praying for more timelessness in our life together!

Happy Anniversary Nanay! 0;)

(pasensya na kung ngayon lang, mahal.. may pinahihinog lang akong mga gunita at ngayon tila puwede ng pitasin 0;)

i can only thank God's grace and great love which empowers us further in our lives together..

i can only thank you so for being this life's joy that you truly are - my wife, the mother of Isay, my very dear friend and wonderfully so much more.

..three years indeed is more than just a million and five hundred seventy-six thousand and eight hundred of our minutes.. it is God's portion of His blessing. may we not ever forget to be grateful and joyful of what has been and for is to come of yet more blessings and yet more love for us.

"Walang pangamba sa pag-ibig na ito na dulot Niya
at maging dasal ng pasasalamat ang bawat saglit ng ating pag-iisa."
(from my wedding vow 0;)

On Marriage

You were born together, and together you shall be forevermore.

You shall be together when the white wings of death scatter your days.

Aye, you shall be together even in the silent memory of God.

But let there be spaces in your togetherness,

And let the winds of the heavens dance between you.

Love one another, but make not a bond of love:

Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.

Fill each other's cup but drink not from one cup.

Give one another of your bread but eat not from the same loaf.

Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of you be alone,

Even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music.

Give your hearts, but not into each other's keeping.

For only the hand of Life can contain your hearts.

And stand together, yet not too near together:

For the pillars of the temple stand apart,

And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other's shadow.
